Absolutely.  Our tastings are $40.00 for a maximum of 4 people.  If you book with us at your tasting, your $40.00 tasting fee will be credited to your overall wedding cake balance.  

Our tastings are unique to Moonlight Cakes. For weddings with 100 or more guests we block an hour for your tasting and let you and your guest (up to 4 people, total) sample 7 of our top cake flavors and all of our fillings. For weddings with 100 guests or fewer we still think your wedding is important, but we will provide a tasting tray for you to pickup and take with you. We ask that you bring pictures, color swatches, invitations or anything else that would help us to better understand the look and feel of your wedding.

Let us do the math for you. We try very hard to make sure you have enough cake for all of your guests, but are not left with too much cake to take home at the end of the night. We will recommend servings based on the time of day, food and alcohol.

Yes, we offer delivery for our wedding cakes. We have 2 delivery vans and our vans are refrigerated to assure that your cake arrives safely in the Texas Sun. Our Delivery price starts at $50, but final delivery pricing is dependent upon location of venue, day of week, holiday delivery, mileage, time, etc.  Please contact us for specific delivery pricing and we can give you a quote.  

For color matching on wedding cakes and custom orders, we ask that you provide a swatch of the shade you would like. We will do our best to match the color but cannot guarantee an exact match. With edible products and food grade dyes exact matches are sometimes difficult to achieve. Also be advised that dark colors will sometimes taste a little bitter or stain teeth. Please speak with a decorator about matching colors or alternate ways to incorporate color into your design.  

It is never too early to book your cake.  Most weddings book 6-12 months in advance. Therefore, our calendar books quickly. 

Yes! If Moonlight Cakes does a complete set up and delivery for your wedding, we offer a 5" anniversary cake for you and your spouse, as our gift to you. All you need to do is give us a call one week before you are celebrating to place your order. 

To hold the date for your special event, we require a non-refundable $350.00 deposit.

For wedding cakes, large events or custom cakes--all deposits and payments, made toward your balance, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
